apple update

A massive update of App Store has been rolled by Apple for its users around the globe. The company has now enabled its App Store to help all the users in discovering apps and games a lot more easily. A redesigned tab has been introduced which has games, apps, and today options which are packed with a lot of interesting stuff.

Since the launch of App Store in 2008, the tech giant has given around $70 billion to the app developers. This store is home to some of the most exciting, innovative, and vibrant apps from different parts of the world. In the past 12 months only, the downloads from the app store have increased a whopping 70 percent.

Because of the new update, it will be possible for the company to grab more market in the app sector.

Phillip Schiller who is the marketing head of the company said in his official statement, “With our incredible developer community, we’ve made the App Store the best app platform in the world, and more than 500 million unique customers visit it every week.”

It can easily be inferred from the above-mentioned statement that more than 500 million customers were visiting the Apple store on a weekly basis. This number is sure to increase with the exciting new update.

A number of features are being shipped through this update but the most prominent features are the newly introduced separate Games and Apps tabs.

The new Games tab will help the users in learning about new updates and releases with ease. They can also find suitable games of their interest.

Additionally, the new App tab will help in getting recommendations of the new Apps varying from photography to videos to games. The other features which are coming with this new update include App Product Pages, Today tabs, and In-App purchases.

Later this year in fall, the company is also planning to launch a new OS named iOS 11.
