YouTube is facilitating its users to live-stream on mobile devices. Android Police has released a report according to which, the video site is dropping the requirement for the users to have more than 1,000 subscribers before they can actually “Go Live” via any handheld device including their smartphones or tablets. Earlier in April, the company dropped the subscriber count requirement to 1,000 from the whopping 10,000.
However, the change has not been yet confirmed by Google or YouTube and is not even showing up for everyone but it is expected to be rolled out in the coming days. One must remember that this doesn’t mean that anyone can start live-streaming using a mobile device. The users need to have a verified account and no live-stream restrictions in the past 90 days in order to qualify for this upgrade.
