After a very long wait, Uber finally arrives in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The company said in a blog post, “We are thrilled to announce UberGO is now available in Islamabad, connecting Pakistan’s twin cities to safe, reliable, and affordable rides.”
The process of booking a ride is very simple and anyone who has ever used such a service before must be familiar with it entirely. When someone books a ride through Uber, they are able to see the photo of the driver, the license plate of the car, the type of car, and can even follow the progress of the app as it makes its way towards you.
The feature “Share my ETA” allows you to tell your family and friends your exact location and how long will it take you to reach them.
To mark the occasion, Uber is offering free rides this weekend from Thursday, April 27th 12 pm until Sunday, April 30th 11:59 pm.
All you need to do is to open the Uber app on your phone and write the promo code “UBERLOVESISB” to get 5 free rides which are worth Rs.250 each.
