The distribution challenges had caused many delays in the launch of Xiaomi in Pakistan but the company will now be presenting its cellphones to the Pakistanis smartphone users on 20th February.
The news was confirmed after Smart Link which a Chinese phone-maker partnered with the company for the distribution, management, and its all other operations in Pakistan.
The launch event will be organized in Islamabad and some of the biggest officials from Xiaomi will attend it. Zong and Daraz are also the launch partners as mentioned by the sources.
Soon after the launch, all the Xiaomi phones will be available in the market for the masses. Even online platforms like Daraz will be dealing with the sales of these phones by offering them online on its platform.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has given approval to four phones and they will be retailed in Pakistan immediately after the launch.
The approved phones are:
- Xiaomi Mi Max
- Xiaomi Mi 5
- Xiaomi Note 3
- Xiaomi Note 4
The prices at which these phones will be available to the Pakistani audiences are still unknown. However, these phones will be provided with official warranty and after support services in Pakistan.
